Farmington City Lock Box Program
The box is secured by a master key to which only our Fire Department has exclusive access. The purpose of owning one is for the use of our fire department to gain entry into the home during an emergency. This can save valuable time in getting responders to you, and preventing your home from being damaged because of forced entry.
The lock box is ideal for those: with medical problems, recuperating from a hospital stay, living alone, using an electronic calling/medical alert service and seasonal residents. Keys are safely locked away and hidden from view.
The fire department has partnered with a reputable company to provide this offer to our residents. The cost of the box is $36.95 – a minimal amount if associating that to your well-being and the potential savings in home repairs.
